➢ Male “Open Class” for all ages

➢ Mixed “Senior Class” for over 40 years old (40+)
Game Model
A team consists of 2 players (and a maximum of 1 player as substitute).
Matches
1. The tournament will be conducted under the ABC Pool/CUP system to equalize the differences in level between the participating teams.
2. Teams are ranked in each group by points, so that the team with the most points is no. 1 and the next best team is no. 2.etc.
– If two teams are tied, the matches they have played together will decide the outcome.
– If the teams are still tied, the team with the greater difference in sets and then in points will be the winner.
Time to play
1. Matches are played to the best of 3 sets. Rest between sets – max. 3 minutes.
2. Each set is played up to 21 points – in case of 3 sets up to 15 points (if there is a tie at 20 points, the 2-point difference rule will NOT apply).
Height of nets
The following net heights shall apply:
– Male 2.43 meters
– Female 2.24 m
– Mixed 2.35m
Standards
1. Unless otherwise specified, the rules of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball Platja (FIVB) apply.
2. The arbitrator must apply international rules.
3. Detailed rules of the game are published in the tournament program.
