Model of play
1. A team consists of 4 or 3 players.
a) Substitution of a player is possible, but the substitute cannot play in another team.
b) Teams can be all-female, all-male or mixed teams of women and men.
c) Women will receive 5-pin handicap in all matches played in the tournament.
d) The full names of the team and players must be written on the scoring system.
The 5-pin handicap for women must also be written on the scoring system. All matches will be played according to European style.
a) Each player bowls 3 games in each round.
b) There are no lane changes in a round.

Tournament
1. The tournament runs for three days as follows:
Qualification (day 1 and 2)
Teams will be divided (by draw) into groups of 3 or 4 teams. The group system remains unchanged for the first two days. Each team will play one round on day 1 and one round on day

2.Quarterfinals (day 3)
The winner of each group and several runners-up qualify for the quarterfinals,
up to a total of 56 teams divided into 14 groups of 4 teams, each playing one round. Semifinal (day 3)
The 14 group winners and the two best runners-up qualify for the semifinal,
totaling 16 teams divided into 4 groups of 4 teams, each playing one round. Final (day 3)
The 4 group winners play a group final over one round.
2. a) The team with the highest total number of pins dropped in a match is the winner.
b) Teams are ranked in each group based on pins dropped, so the team with the highest number of pins dropped is #1, the team with the second highest number of pins dropped is #2, etc. Tie rules are presented in the detailed game rules in the tournament program.

Rules
1. Unless otherwise specified, the rules of the World Bowling Association apply.
2. Even the referee must apply the international rules.
3. Detailed game rules are published in the tournament program.
