1. The total number of competitors defines the number of golf courses required. Each competitor plays one full round (=18 holes) per day. 2. Each competitor is guaranteed at least two rounds. 3. The daily number of competitors per 18-hole course shall be limited to 120. Scoring classes
1. Gross scoring (women and men separately) without taking into account individual handicaps. Net scoring classes: – Class A (e.g. handicap up to 9.0)
– Class B (e.g. handicap – 09.1 to -18.0)
– Class C (e.g. handicap – 18.1 to -27.0)
– Class D (e.g. handicap – 27.1 to -36.0) In the net scoring classes, the competitors are divided into 4 handicap classes of the same size. Rules
1. The final score is an accumulation of all daily scores. 2. Women and men are judged separately. 3. Prizes are awarded to the three highest placed women and three highest placed men in each scoring category. No individual double awards are allowed. Prize winners in the gross score category are not eligible to receive prizes in their net score classes. 4. For team competition, the net scores (women or men) of 3 individual company team players, who must be nominated prior to the start of the tournament, are accumulated each day (multi-company teams are not permitted). 5. Unless otherwise specified, the rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews (R & A) apply. 6. Each competitor starts with his current handicap, which his club confirms in writing immediately prior to the tournament. If confirmation is not provided, the starting handicap will be zero. 7. Scoring will be for handicaps up to -36, which is the lowest official handicap in Europe. 8. The tournament will be declared a handicap qualifying tournament. 9. Referees/commissioners must be consistent with international rules.
