1. The participants are divided in 5 classes according to age.

2. The grouping applies to both man and women.

Class-A: 18 – 30 years

Class-B: 31 – 40 years

Class-C: 41 – 50 years

Class-D: 51 – 60 years

Class-E: over 60 years

There are 2 individual cycling trials:

Time trial

Race over one or more laps over a distance of approximately 10 km.

If one rider is caught up by another, he may neither lead nor follow in the slipstream of the rider who

caught up. A rider, upon catching up with another shall leave a lateral gap of at least 2 meters between

himself and the other rider. After 1 km, the rider caught up shall ride at least 25 m away from the other.

Wearing a crash helmet is mandatory and riding with a time trial bike is allowed.

The time recording is done electronically, for example by means of a transponder.

Road race

Race over one or more laps over a distance between approximately 40 and 60 km. The distance may vary

by gender and/or age categories.

Depending on the number of participants, the races for the different genders and/or age categories can

be grouped into one or more races.

When different genders and/or age categories ride together, it is advisable to start in waves per category,

with an interval of at least one minute.

Any rider who is doubled by the lead riders before they start their final lap, shall be eliminated and must

leave the race. These riders shall be classified in accordance with their position.

Wearing a crash helmet is mandatory and riding with a time trial bike or a time trial bracket mounted on

the bicycle is not allowed.

The time recording is done electronically, for example by means of a transponder.

1. Unless otherwise specified, the rules of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) apply.

2. Even a referee must apply the international rules.
