INDIVIDUAL Class division
➢ Male
➢ Female Division
1. Participants are divided into 5 classes according to age.
2. The grouping applies to both men and women.
Class A: 18 – 30 years
Class B: 31 – 40 years
Class C: 41 – 50 years
Class D: 51 – 60 years
Class E: over 60 years old
Disciplines
1. There are 12 track and field events:
➢ 100 m
➢ 200 m
➢ 400 m
➢ 800 m
➢ 1500 m
➢ 5000 m
➢ 4×100 m Relay (men/women without age division)
➢ Relay. 4×100 m (mixed 2 men and 2 women without division by age)
➢ Long jump
➢ High jump
➢ Shot put
Rules
1. Unless otherwise specified, the rules of the International Association of Athletics International athletics federations
(IAAF) apply.
2. Even a referee must apply the international rules.
3. Detailed playing rules are published in the tournament program.
TEAMS Class Division ➢ Mixed
Division
No division by age categories. A team consists of 3 athletes, including at least 1 woman/man. 2. Team members participate in all four disciplines. 3. Each individual result is corrected using an age factor provided by World Masters Athletics (WMA), and then the age-corrected result is converted into points according to the IAAF scoring tables. 4. Using age factors, which are nothing more than age-related handicaps, older competitors should have an equal chance of winning. 5. The winner is the team with the highest total score. Disciplines There are 4 track and field events: ➢ 100 m ➢ 1500 m ➢ Long jump ➢ Shot put.
