Mallorca gateway
Palma Airport
Just 8km outside the city, is the gateway for the millions of visitors to the island.
Airport traffic is fundamentally international and reaches its highest peak in the summertime, although its flights with the mainland are also vital.

Port of Palma
It is the biggest of the five ports managed by the Balearic Port Authority and it is located in the middle of the city, right in front of the maze-like Old Town. Linked from one end to the other by the “Paseo Marítimo” promenade, erected in the 1960s, the port is divided into four areas: the Commercial quay, the Western quay, the Sporting docks and the Western pier. The port offers services which, despite having had to face spatial limitations, have enabled the port to strengthen its status as one of the most important in all of the Mediterranean withregards to cruise ship traffic.
With the perfect alignment between tradition and technological advances, this port is a physical demonstration of the fact that the Mediterranean has its own, slow philosophy.
However, it maintains a character that does not shun modernity, making it a place that both visitors and residents greatly appreciate.
